Client Overview
A Thailand-based outsourcing arm of a global professional-services network (HQ in Europe, operating in over 100 countries). Their Thailand office employs approximately 400 professionals and the global network comprises nearly 40,000 professionals.
Client Needs
Although the two employees selected for personalized 1-on-1 training were effective communicators in English, they lacked fluency, smoothness, and confidence.
This was especially true when interacting with international clients. They needed to improve their abilities to explain proposals, describe services, and engage in business networking with clarity and professionalism.
Participants:
- Student #1: Needed to present payroll service proposals, discuss fees, and network with clients in the UK, Europe, Latin America, and India.
- Student #2: Needed to simplify and explain technical and legal information (e.g. Thai tax law, Labor Protection Act) and present software-related payroll solutions clearly to clients in India and Singapore.

How “English Plus” Helped the Client
We applied our English Plus methodology to imrpve their business English confidence – combining communication skills training with soft-skills development through interactive, real-world tasks:
- Learn vocabulary: Business phrases, expressions, and sentence-chunks relevant to payroll, legal, and networking contexts.
- Understand usage: Not just grammar – but how and when to use English appropriately and professionally.
